Jan Goodkin

Jan Goodkin is a cross-disciplinary artist specialising in sculpture, installation and performance.

With an MA in Art in Architecture, and a further postgraduate diploma in Architectural Stone Carving, Jan is primarily concerned with forms in their spatial context. She is, in addition, an accomplished singer, and her practice includes sung works performed in spaces that have particular resonance.

Jan has been invited to perform at exhibition launches at the Design Museum, including a sung 'intervention' in the John Pawson installation, and an innovative improvisation at the Wim Crouwel retrospective. She has also undertaken commissions, notably for a carved grotesque for St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Jan has exhibited widely throughout her career; her work is held in private collections in the UK and internationally.
