Platform 39 is pleased to present Edit Toaso’s first London solo show.
In her newest body of work she uses refined graphic techniques such as, pencil and pen drawing and mark-making on found objects/papers for her sophisticated, experimental, artworks. Her practice mostly comprises series of works rather than individual, stand-alone, images, examining the etymology of transition as both physical manifestation and metaphor.
A special site-specific piece will be also presented to represent the complexity of our maze of creative inner life influenced by the myth of Ariadne’s Thread.
Edit Toaso is a resident Artist at Westland Place Studios.
